On 5th November, Professor Christos Xenakis from the Department of Digital Systems of Piraeus University, as Project coordinator of CUREX had the opportunity to present the project on European Big Data Value Forum 2020 (EBDVF).
The clustering event was held online, and Professor participated in the session of EBDVF Health Track: On Health Data Spaces and Health Data Applications which focus on European health dataspaces, healthcare applications as well as post-COVID healthcare systems. Also, he presented from the scope of CUREX, how can contribute, develop solutions, and secure digital healthcare infrastructures.
The forum success was that brought together representatives from the most important European health data initiatives to discuss lessons learned from previous projects, joint positions, and possible roadmaps for European health data infrastructures and applications.
EBDVF 2020 aims to deliver the continuous success of the previous forums and to contribute to the discussions on the European Data and AI Strategy with the program focusing on “AI and Big Data Transforming Business and Society”.
