Nikoloas Yfantopoulos was born in Athens, Greece. He received the degree in Department of Business Administration and Information Systems from the Technological Educational Institute of Patra, Greece, in 2006, and the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Digital Systems Security from the Department of Digital Systems at University of Piraeus, Greece, in 2012. Currently, he is a PhD researcher in the Department of Digital Systems under the supervision of Associate Professor Konstantinos Labrinoudakis in "Security and Privacy in a Cloud-based Hospital Information Systems". During 2002-2003 he worked as IT Support in Regional Healthcare System of Western Greece, Rio, Patra, Greece and from July 2003 until September 2003 he worked as IT Support in Onassio Cardiac Surgery Center, Athens, Greece. Between October 2005 and March 2006, he performed his internship in Social Database sector in National Centre for Social Research, Athens, Greece. During the periods of March 2009 until June 2009, February 2010 until June 2010 and March 2012 until June 2012, he worked as Computer Science teacher at the primary education. Moreover, from November 2010 until September 2011, he worked as IT Support in Omega International Transport, Aspropyrgos, Greece and from August 2012 until March 2013, he worked as IT Manager in Technical Consultancy Company S.A within the project “Development of Cadastre at municipalities of Piraeus and Samos”.Today, he works as a professor of Statistical Science at the Department of Health and Welfare Management at Technological Educational Institute of Athens, as a professor assistant of Computer Science at the Department of Digital System at University of Piraeus and as a professor of Computer Science at the postsecondary education.
